Low Back Pain, Leg Pain

I started acupuncture in April, 2008 and have had bi-weekly acupuncture for pain that went from the center of my back and down the left and right sides of my hips and legs (the doctor treated me for sciatic pain). Dr. Fan helped me tremendously. I have not an ounce of pain in this area……

while in treatment for sciatica, I also had a knee pain and stiffness, only after one acupuncture needle, I am pain free in the left knee. I also developed an inflammation in my right heel and couldn’t even walk on it especially in the morning. I only mentioned it to Dr. Fan and he treated the heel inflammation with I only mentioned it to Dr. Fan and he treated the heel inflammation with a series of 4 or 5 treatments and I have little sensitively……

I also experienced an overall sense of wellness with more energy and a much deeper sleep since I have been seeing Dr. Fan. He changed my health dramatically……every time I see him.  I thank him and want to hug him for giving me my health and pain free life back.

Thank you, Dr. Fan

(1) Low back pain- Spinal Stenosis, Herniated Lumbar Discs.

(2) Rheumatoid Arthritis.

August 21, 2007

I am a patient currently seeing Dr. Arthur Fan for acupuncture treatments in conjunction with other simultaneous medical treatment prescribed by rheumatologist for rheumatoid arthritis. I had surgery two years ago for herniated lumbar disc and for severe spinal stenosis. Surgery eliminated sciatic pain but could not eliminate the pain caused by spinal stenosis, which is inoperable. Without further surgery as an option and hoping to avoid the use of increasingly strong pain medication, I consulted with Dr. Fan and began a series of enormously beneficial acupuncture sessions. Within a very short time crippling back pain has been reduced enough so that I have played a lot of golf this summer quite comfortably and have relied on nothing stronger than some Advil for arthritic discomfort in my feet. I have discontinued the use of all other pain medication. While this is in no way a suggestion that acupuncture is a cure for arthritis, my experience is absolutely that acupuncture administered by a certified practitioner reduces the pain caused by arthritis. Acupuncture is painless and non-invasive and I have the highest regard for Dr. Arthur Fan.
