Chinese Medicine is effective for Parkinson Disease and Parkinson Syndrom.Using Acupuncture and/or Chinese Herbology, you might get a satisfactory reult. They are totally natual therapy, unlike chemical drug.
Parkinson disease (PD):
Because Dr.Fan was a neurologist in China over 10 years, he treated PD with herbal tea or pill, as well as acupuncture (esp.sculp acupuncture) very successful. And, he published two papers in China national medical journals (One in Chinese, one in English). The treatment period is 2 to 6 month, after that, some patients were “clinical cured”, i.e., even stop herbal tea or acupuncture, still good. No shaking at all.
For some patients who have shaking, tremor, still symptomes, secondary of stroke or brain injuries, they are PS. Among them, one PS patient who had brain injury in an accident has very good result, after one year herbal tea therapy, his head shaking stopped.
Mr. J.A., a professor of a famous university, had PD history 2 years, and already took drugs which contain levodopa. The controlling of shaking(lip and left hand) is not good. After our 8 sessions’acupuncture and herbal pill treatment, the shaking generally disappeare, just occationally has a little bit shaking.
Ms. S.M, a middle school teacher, has PD history one year. She does’t want to take chemical drug, so visits our center for acupuncture, up to Spetember 30, 2006, she had 6 sessions’acupuncture, she said, her shaking at fingers (right hand) and lips stopped. She is very satisfied and continue several additional sessions for stablizing the effecacy.
Parkinson Disease post Deep-Brain-Stimulation, with Hyperextension of both knee
Sept 5, 2007
I have found acupuncture treatments significantly helpful in reducing hyperextension of the knee so that walking is easier, with less up and down motion, less knee wobble, less ankle turning (rolling) and overall smoothed gait. I have been receiving treatments for about 4 months.
